A friend of mine told me the other day that I was very brave. When I asked “Why?” he had mentioned that it was because I was posting my rough draft of Argentum.
There are a lot of things that are scary: fires, accidents, hurricanes, death. Is my posting of a draft scary? Well, sure it is. In my opinion, you are either going to love or hate this book. It’s not a “simple” story, I’m not writing about a heroic character and there may be no happy ending. This is also a draft, so my words are not polished and there are times when physical descriptions may be incongruous.
I am posting a draft, though, as a way to keep writing no matter what. I have the challenge of editing while I write sometimes which slows down my fiction projects.
There’s also a good chance that this book may never get published. I know that and I accept that, but I’m going to continue forward with this book anyways. As a full-time writer, I’ve always got other projects in the hopper so at the very least this book will be what it has been for me — a labor of love.
I have been writing for NaNoWriMo, so I feel that some of these chapters are a bit rushed. I hope you enjoy reading Argentum and, as always, your feedback is appreciated.
